Walking Classroom STEM Program WalkKit

STEM WalkKits come preloaded with 61 standards-aligned educational podcasts on topics covering earth science, physical science, and life science. They also include a Careers in Science series featuring interviews with 16 scientists from the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences. Each discreet podcast lasts 13 to 18 minutes. Different learning styles are engaged as students listen to these kid-friendly educational podcasts while they walk. Each podcast on the STEM Program WalkKit begins with a short introduction in Spanish. They also include a brief health literacy message, and a character value trait is woven throughout the narrative.
