The Reverend's Wife
It's been months since Reverend Black learned that his wife, Charlotte, had affairs with two different men. And while he continues to be cordial and respectful to her, he has made it clear that once their son, Matthew, graduates from high school, he is filing for divorce. Charlotte, on the other hand, is doing all she can to make amends, but Curtis disregards her attempts and is ready to move on. Partly because there is no shortage of women eager to become the next Mrs. Curtis Black, and partly because he realizes how deep his feelings still are for his first wife, Tanya. The result: Charlotte becomes a woman scorned, begins drinking heavily, and fantasizes about revenge. The path she heads down is shocking, and one that could cause more pain and tragedy for the people she loves most.
