A Visit with Yo-Yo Ma
Here’s the inspiring program with Yo-Yo Ma, world-famous cellist, where viewers enjoy his extraordinary musical talent and get to know him as he visits with Mister Rogers. Performing a variety of musical pieces, he shows how he uses music to express all kinds of feelings.
Duckie Deck Homemade Orchestra
Release your child’s inner maestro with Homemade Orchestra, where they can customize and play an array of musical instruments made from everyday objects. Whether it’s a rattle made from things found at home or a steel pot drum set, there’s no limit to the different sounds you can achieve.
Mazaam Harmony
Mazaam Harmony is a fun and educational app that introduces children to the musical concept of harmony by listening to masterpieces of classical music. In the colorful world of sea lions, children discover, detect and associate consonant sounds and dissonant sounds, with visual cues to guide them. As they progress through the games, the cues gradually disappear. Mazaam’s pedagogical approach is based on several years of scientific research led by the Canada Research Chair in Music and Learning.

Mazaam Pitch is a fun and educational app that introduces children to the pitch of sounds by listening to masterpieces of classical music. Accompanied by squirrels bursting with energy, children discover, distinguish and differentiate low sounds and high-pitched sounds, with visual cues to guide them. A fun story centered around being in and around music and frequency with highlighted text and independent reading modes. eKidz is an award-winning language learning application that helps kids develop reading skills. Each title features interactive listening and reading practice, simultaneous narration adapted by level, reading comprehension, and much more, while providing the opportunity for children to celebrate culture and heritage through exclusive content.
Music on the Neighborhood
Mister Rogers helps children learn about and appreciate music as he visits with cellist Yo-Yo Ma, the Empire Brass Quintet, and the Neighborhood's own John Costa. In Make-Believe there's lots of excitement when the King commands a Bass Violin Festival. Mister Rogers walks off the set to introduce the people who make the music on Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood. In Make-Believe King Friday's commands a "Bass Violin Festival." But he is the only person who knows how to play the bass violin!
My Pretend Preschool
