This Launchpad contains the following apps:

Kindergarten Lesson 21 - 2 Less to 9
Continue learning subtraction by removing 2 from a given number. Kids use watermelons, rolls, and burgers as manupulatives to practice the concept of taking away. Matching 10-frames with their subtraction sentence and sequencing equations on a number line are games used to represent subtraction problems.

Kindergarten Lesson 22 - Sub to 9 (a)
Increase fluency in subtraction operations by subtracting by 3, 4, or 5. Kids place houses on the base-10 street to find differences under 9. The street and the 10-frame pegs allow students to subtract combinations of numbers under 10.

Kindergarten Lesson 23 - Sub to 9 (b)
Elevate subtraction skills by subtracting by 6, 7, or 8. Kids use food items and math cubes to demonstrate subtraction sentences. These exercises provide kids with ample experiences to break apart sets of objects and see the relationships between numbers.

Kindergarten Lesson 24 - Numbers 10 to 13
Identify and count numbers between 10 to 13. Kids throw soccer balls into a net, pop bubbles over the witch's brew, and plant flowers in a row reinforcing sequence and number identification.

Kindergarten Lesson 25 - Numbers 14 to 17
Count numbers between 14-17. Kids count beach toys into a bag, pop bubbles underwater, and sequence numbers in reverse order on a train-themed game.

Kindergarten Lesson 26 - Numbers 18 to 20
Kids throw soccer balls to understand discrete quantities, pop bubbles in a bubble bath, and navigate number mazes while learning to match numerals with the quantities they represent using numbers 1-20.

Kindergarten Lesson 27 - Make 10
Find the number that makes 10 when added to the given number. Kids decorate cupcakes, play with monster party hats, and fill ice cream cones to get to 10. Build fluency in working with number relationships that total 10, thus, laying the foundation for base-10 operations.

Kindergarten Lesson 28 - Tens & Ones
Learn base-10 place values by using tens and ones to represent numbers up to 20. Kids construct representation of numbers using base-10 cubes and houses and adding on from 10 and using mental math to reach a new number.

Kindergarten Lesson 29 - Money
Play a shopping game to buy toys using coins in 1 and 10 denominations to pay for various items. This lesson shows a practical use of numbers that also works with ones and tens to apply the understanding of place value.

Kindergarten Lesson 30 - Time
Learn about time by sequencing events and showing hours on a clock. Kids first learn to sequence 3 events to show what happens first, next, and last. Then, they move the hour hand on analog clocks to the indicated time and see how time is represented on a digital clock.
