This 5-level guided reading system helps kids to master verbal, reading, and writing skills - starting at any level. Every app, storybook, and video has been hand-selected to help kids gain the knowledge they need to transition from learning-to-read to reading-to-learn.

Emerging packs are ideal for readers who have reached the following milestones:
- Asks questions to confirm understanding
- Knows letter sounds
- Recognizes basic sight words
- Identifies patterns of text with picture support
- Spells short vowel word blends
- Uses drawing, dictating, and writing to compose text

Common Core Kindergarten Reading Sight Words 1-25
Common Core Kindergarten Reading is a set of high-quality, nationally-accepted, academic standards in reading. These learning goals outline what a student should know and be able to do before entering 1st grade. This first in a series of programs covers the beginning 9 Weeks of Kindergarten, where kids learn 25 sight words, such as "the," "he," "we," etc. Join young host, Julianna, who explains what sight words are and enthusiastically presents each word, sounds it out slowly, and uses it in a simple sentence with on-screen graphics and illustrations that reinforce the use of the particular sight word.
