This 5-level guided reading system helps kids master verbal, reading, and writing skills — starting at any level. Every app, storybook, and video has been hand-selected to help kids gain the knowledge they need to transition from learning-to-read to reading-to-learn.

Developing packs are ideal for readers who have reached the following milestones:

- Can recount a story with descriptive detail
- Asks for clarification when needed
- Starting to decode unknown long vowel words
- Reads text with accuracy
- Writes using a topic
- Will spell more complex, long vowel words

This third in a series of Common Core programs teaches sight words covered in weeks 10 through 18 of 2nd Grade, where kids learn words such as "small," "draw," "clean," "grow," "left," etc. Join young host Kristin who explains what sight words are, and enthusiastically presents each word, sounds it out slowly, and uses it in a simple sentence with on-screen graphics and illustrations that reinforce the use of the particular sight word.
