Level 2: Emerging

This 5-level guided reading system helps kids master verbal, reading, and writing skills — starting at any level. Every app, storybook, and video has been hand-selected to help kids gain the knowledge they need to transition from learning-to-read to reading-to-learn.

Emerging packs are ideal for readers who have reached the following milestones:

- Asks questions to confirm understanding
- Knows letter sounds
- Recognizes basic sight words
- Identifies patterns of text with picture support
- Spells short vowel words and blends
- Uses drawing, dictating, and writing to compose text

Kids Sight Words
Join Tammy the Frog on a journey through 4 exciting activities as she hops from one to the next to learn commonly used English words. There are 5 levels of vocabulary for your child to learn and review.

No and Yes
First Reader, Level 1: Sam the Ram goes out to eat with her friends and answers some questions she has using both No and Yes!

Rob and Nip
First Reader, Level 1: Rob and Nip head over to the park to play! Follow along their adventure to the top of playground!

Rocket Speller PLUS
A spelling and phonics adventure that is out-of-this-world! Children will join Zip the Alien and spell words to help him fly to different planets and collect rockets!

Short Vowels Word Study
Short Vowels Word Study helps kids learn from different spelling patterns like CVC words and CVC words with blends and diagraphs. Word Sorts included!
