2nd Grade Lesson 31 - Add 100s, 10s and 1s
Learn to add up to 1000. Kids add numbers in the hundreds, tens, and ones place value using 100 grids and base-10 manipulatives. These math exercises require students to build upon previous lesson of adding tens and ones place values.

2nd Grade Lesson 32 - Compose 10 to Add (b)
Kids use cubes, houses and marshmallows to compose a 10 and add numbers where the sum is under 1000. After working with manipulatives, kids will write on the touch screen with their finger to add numbers in vertical form.

2nd Grade Lesson 33 - Compose 100 to Add
Kids use cubes, houses, and marshmallows to regroup tens to hundreds place value. These exercises allow kids to understand and practice regrouping at different place values.

2nd Grade Lesson 34 - Greater or Less (a)
Kids compare two numbers under 500 and determine their relative value to each other using >,=, < symbols. Games include: feeding the bigger number to the alligator, helping Monster find his way out of a cave, and plucking scrolling numbers.

2nd Grade Lesson 35 - Sub 100s, 10s and 1s
Learn to subtract up to 1000. Kids use ones, tens, and hundreds cubes to solve subtraction problems. These math exercises require students to synthesize previous learning about place values.

2nd Grade Lesson 36 - Decompose 10 to Sub (b)
Subtract numbers under 1000 by regrouping. Kids use base-10 cubes and houses to decompose numbers in the tens place value and subtract in the ones place value. After working with manipulatives, the vertical form exercises allow kids to work with abstract numbers.

2nd Grade Lesson 37 - Decompose 100 to Sub
Subtract numbers under 1000 by decomposing from the hundreds place value. Kids decompose a hundred into 10 tens cubes in order to subtract. The games include creating s'mores out of marshmallows. After working with manipulatives, the vertical form exercises allow kids to work with abstract numbers.

2nd Grade Lesson 38 - Greater or Less (b)

Count forward by groups of 2. Kids play a fun connect-the-dot game to reveal balloons, bunny, and panda. Help the frog jump onto lily pads to cross the pond and sequence nunmbers forward and backwards. These exercises help kids extend the counting sequence and build a foundation for working in multiples of numbers.
